Maywood Park July 4th Celebration!

One of Maywood Park’s favorite traditions is just a few weeks away.
Whether you’re planning to march in the parade, cheer from the sidelines, enjoy food trucks and live music, or simply spend time with neighbors, we hope you’ll join us. Friends, family, and neighbors from surrounding communities are warmly welcome to celebrate with us.
This year’s celebration will feature live music from The Velvet Stingrays featuring Maywood Park resident and Councilor Thomas Welander, food trucks, and an afternoon of community gathering in the Commons. We’re also inviting classic cars, motorcycles, decorated bikes, walkers, and other parade participants to help make this year’s parade a memorable one.
Please plan to bring your own blanket, lawn chair, or other seating. The City will not be providing general seating for attendees. A very limited number of tables and chairs will be available for residents and guests with mobility or accessibility needs.
