Sumner Association of Neighbors (SAN) March General Community Meeting

Guest speaker will be an officer with Portland Police from North Precinct to talk about re-starting the NRT Team and what is currently happening within Portland Police.

About the Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) Program:

The mission of the Portland Police Bureau Neighborhood Response Team Program is to: Solve chronic problems related to crime, nuisance, and livability issues. Livability is defined as “suitability for human living.” NRT Officers work with community members and other City Offices and Programs to identify the chronic problem, understand the conditions that caused the rise of the issue, develop long-term community solutions, and assist and/or execute relief actions to resolve the chronic issue.
