At our last general meeting on November 17, 2020 our guest speaker was Sumner Board Member, Hannah Lewis. Hannah works for OnPoint Community Credit Union and was kind enough to give us a presentation on scams and the common types of fraud going around today.
Attached are the slides she provided that are helpful if you have or know someone that has become a victim or if you want to know how to avoid becoming a victim. If you ever receive a call from Social Security or from another bank wanting to update information, you need to know that neither SS nor a bank will call you.
