The name Sumner is not in the headline\, so we may have been an after thought to gain additional taxes for projects not in Sumner. A TIF is a program that allocates future increases in property taxes from a designated area or TIF District to pay for improvements in that area. It is a goal to allow developers and local governments to collaborate in the redevelopment of blighted\, old or abandoned properties into renewed\, virbrant neighborhoods and other kinds of projects. \nThis is a meeting everyone needs to attend. We have a great community in Sumner. This TIF could change it.
