Saturday, March 26 — Sumner Pride litter patrol. 10AM at Central Northeast Neighbors (CNN), side door of Fire Station #12 at 4415 NE 87th Ave, between Sandy and Prescott. Sponsored by the Sumner Association of Neighbors (SAN) and Central Northeast Neighbors (CNN).
We furnish the gloves, garbage bags and litter picker tools, you provide an hour or two of your time to help beautify our little piece of Portland. It’s easy, it’s very low cost instant gratification, and it works great for making our neighborhood look and feel better.
Monday, March 28 — Community Economic Development Roundtable. 6:30-8:30 PM at the CNN office, 4415 NE 87th Ave. Come hear Kate Deane of the Portland Development Commission (PDC) on the Draft Neighborhood Economic Development (NED) Action Plan (844K PDF file). Wednesday, March 30 — Open houses about the Sandy Boulevard Repaving Project. 5-7:30 PM at Central Northeast Neighbors (CNN), 4415 NE 87th. The project will be repaving NE Sandy Blvd from NE 47th to NE 82nd. Construction is slated to start in May and end in November.
